Aviation Lightbox Frames: Forest 2
Part of my interest in Art is not only the Art itself, but also the framing of the Art. Historically, some of the frames from the 16-17thcentury were made with hand carved wood and were created to specifically complement the Art within. I’ve taken that and created a more modern take on the relationship between frame and the Art. In this case, designing and creating a metal frame that has its own dimension and perspective that works seamlessly with the Art that is also a lightbox. Each of these pieces has an LED strip lighting the inside to illuminate and create a calm effect that is almost interactive with the observer.
